Softball Recap: Westminster Comes Up Short

Westminster lost against Dulaney back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Westminster took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dulaney.

Alyssa Ward made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Amanda Stansbury was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Westminster's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dulaney, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Westminster will take on South Carroll at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dulaney, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Dulaney Lions take on Carver A&T Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
