Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cape Henlopen). Their defense stepped up to hand the Polytech Panthers a 9-0 shutout on Tuesday. Cape Henlopen haven't had any issues with Polytech recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Cape Henlopen's offense was hitting Polytech from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Brenner Short led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Cape Henlopen's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Polytech, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
