Basketball Recap: Kenton Comes Up Short

Kenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 64-37 loss at the hands of the Wapakoneta Redskins. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 56-28 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Kenton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Wapakoneta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kenton will host Allen East at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wapakoneta, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Greenville at 5:30 p.m.
