Baseball Recap: Pyramid Lake Comes Up Short

Pyramid Lake had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Silver Stage Nighthawks by a score of 15-14 on Thursday.

Albert Phoenix was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was William Darrough, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The victory made it two in a row for Silver Stage and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Pyramid Lake will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Sierra Lutheran at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Silver Stage, they will take on Carlin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
