Soccer Game Preview: Linfield Christian vs. Woodcrest Christian + How To Watch

Linfield Christian is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Woodcrest Christian Royals at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Linfield Christian managed to keep up with Temecula Valley until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lions lost 4-1 to the Golden Bears. The result was nothing new for Linfield Christian as the squad haven't won a game since December 2nd.

Their goal came courtesy of Landon Waddell, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Woodcrest Christian was not quite Webb's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Gauls by a score of 2-1.

Woodcrest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Linfield Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5-3.

Linfield Christian beat Woodcrest Christian by a goal in their previous meeting back in February, winning 3-2. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Royals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
