Basketball Game Preview: West Bladen Knights vs. Red Springs Red Devils

The West Bladen Knights just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Red Springs Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Bladen will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

West Bladen can't be too worried about heading out to take on Red Springs: they just beat Fairmont at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. West Bladen blew past Fairmont 47-26 on Monday. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

West Bladen's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Williams, who posted 15 points. Jackson Pait was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Red Springs came up short against East Columbus last Saturday and fell 38-30.

Red Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for West Bladen, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.

Everything came up roses for West Bladen against Red Springs in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 70-35 victory. In that contest, West Bladen amassed a halftime lead of 34-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
