The Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders will face off against the GRACE Christian Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Harrells Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Addison Vercellino made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lydia Lester, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Caroline Gausman, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

GRACE Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .583. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .370 or higher in six consecutive games.

Harrells Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for GRACE Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
