The Carey Blue Devils will challenge the Buckeye Central Bucks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Carey's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Buckeye Central has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Carey will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Colonel Crawford on Thursday. The Blue Devils blew past the Eagles 10-3.

Tylinn Stoll made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off nine hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with four RBI.
In other batting news, Danika Hanna was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Bayah Harsanje, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.
Seneca East hit Buckeye Central with a five-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bucks fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 8-7.
Megan Siefert made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Phoebe Rafferty was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base.
The victory got Carey back to even at 12-12. As for Buckeye Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.
Buckeye Central's pitching crew better be locked in on Monday. Carey hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. It's a different story for Buckeye Central, though, as they've been averaging only 0 home runs. Will they be able to keep Carey in the park?
Carey skirted past Buckeye Central 7-6 in their previous matchup back in April. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bucks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
