After losing to Henry County the last time they met, Bourbon County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bourbon County Colonels rang in the new year with a 76-64 victory over the Henry County Wildcats on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colonels.

Bourbon County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Henry County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bourbon County will face off against Heritage Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Henry County, they will challenge Grant County at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th.
