Baseball Game Preview: Blum Bobcats vs. Milford Bulldogs

For the first time this season, Blum will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will host the Milford Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses dating back to last season for Blum and four for Milford.

Blum lost 23-4 to Itasca on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Milford came up short against Keene on Friday and fell 14-9.

Swish Washington was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Kobe Rigsby, who scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Blum's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Milford, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Blum took their win against Milford in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1. Does Blum have another victory up their sleeve, or will Milford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
