East Sequoia recap December 3, 2013
Strathmore led East Sequoia in scoring this week by notching 35 points on Strathmore.
The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of the Spartans' Carlos Lopez. Strathmore fell to Farmersville when he connected with Tony Cruz on a 75-yard throw and catch.
Lopez threw for 208 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Gaven Mann was the best wideout in the league this week as Lindsay lost to Liberty. Mann racked up 3 receptions for 112 yards. Angel Cortes helped Lindsay's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 25 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Cardinals' Alex Jara and Mann have proven to be a lethal combination. Jara has thrown for 2,678 yards this season, while Mann has 60 catches for 1,140 yards. Woodlake's Elijah Cunningham leads the league in rushing yards with 1,200.
Lindsay led East Sequoia in points allowed with 19.
