Soccer Game Preview: Windward vs. Brentwood School

The Windward Wildcats will face off against the Brentwood School Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Windward's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Windward is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Crossroads just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Roadrunners by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Wildcats seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Brentwood School got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They won by a goal and slipped past Campbell Hall 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Eagles were the better team in the second half.

Brentwood School's victory bumped their record up to 5-6-2. As for Windward, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-4.
