Soccer Recap: Mayfield vs. Orange
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Edward, Mayfield was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Orange Lions 2-1. The Wildcats' winning goal came courtesy of Josiah Bihary.
The win got Mayfield back to even at 3-3-1. As for Orange, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-6-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mayfield will face off against North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orange, they will challenge Keystone at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
