Harmony Grove took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Bismarck, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Hornets had just enough and edged out the Lions 8-7 on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got Harmony Grove back to even at 10-10. As for Bismarck, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
