Volleyball Recap: Kirby Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kirby Prep lost against Oakwood back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Griffins came up short against the Hawks, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-6, 25-4.

Oakwood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isabelle Anderson, who had ten aces and five kills. Anderson has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last 24 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Gianna Garcia, who had 15 aces.

Kirby Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Oakwood, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.

Kirby Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakwood, they will challenge Chartwell at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
