Basketball Recap: J.F. Webb Triumphs

J.F. Webb's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the South Granville Vikings 58-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since February 2, 2024.

J.F. Webb's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for South Granville, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.F. Webb will face off against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season. As for South Granville, they will square off against Carrboro at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
