Baseball Recap: David Crockett's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

The David Crockett Pioneers earned a 6-3 win over the Cocke County Fighting Cocks on Friday.

Gabe Story tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, David Crockett saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elisha Rice, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Rice hit this season.

David Crockett will be playing at home against Elizabethton on Monday. As for Cocke County, they will square off against Westview at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
