Softball Recap: Glenbard East's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Glenbard East took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Lake Park, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams won by a run and slipped past the Lancers 6-5. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on five straight.

Glenbard East's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Lake Park, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-9.

Looking ahead, Glenbard East will head out to take on St. Charles East at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Fighting Saints' pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Lake Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
