Soccer Game Preview: South Rowan vs. East Rowan + Official Tickets

The South Rowan Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the East Rowan Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Rowan will be strutting in after a win while East Rowan will be coming in after a loss.

South Rowan is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over West Rowan on Tuesday. South Rowan haven't had any issues with West Rowan recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

South Rowan hit West Rowan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Johan Sanchez (3), Alex Morales, and Carlos Landaverde.

Meanwhile, East Rowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 7-2 to Salisbury. While losing is never fun, East Rowan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Salisbury are ranked 113th).

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-13-1. As for East Rowan, they now have a losing record of 9-10-1.

South Rowan might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from East Rowan in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
