Volleyball Recap: Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Comes Up Short

Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran was the 2-0 winner over Hudson when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Saturday. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Gabi Radichel paced Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran's offense, picking up eight kills. Radichel got some help from Leah Thompson and her seven assists. Radichel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Hudson can attribute much of their success to Kaitlyn Drost, who had nine digs and three aces.

Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Hudson, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Ellsworth on the 11th. As for Hudson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Rice Lake on the 11th.
