Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Fenwick's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Fenwick proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand the Benet Academy Redwings a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Fenwick were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Lila Gaddipati, who's now up to 12 this season.

Fenwick is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8-1 record this season. As for Benet Academy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-6-2.

Looking ahead, Fenwick will be playing in front of their home fans against Jones at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Benet Academy, they will head out to square off against Marist at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
