Softball Recap: Edsel Ford Thunderbirds vs. Woodhaven Warriors

Monday just wasn't the day for Edsel Ford's offense. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 14-0 walloping at the hands of the Woodhaven Warriors on Monday. Edsel Ford has not had much luck with Woodhaven recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

For Woodhaven's part, Grace Usher was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Usher has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Usher was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and an RBI.
