Laurel entered their tilt with Lockwood on Thursday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They skirted past the LIONS 5-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-4 back in March.

Laurel pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Lockwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Laurel will challenge East Helena at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lockwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
