Softball Recap: Elmwood/Plum City Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Boyceville, Elmwood/Plum City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Glenwood City Hilltoppers get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered an 11-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Elmwood/Plum City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Ginsbach, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

The victory got Elmwood/Plum City back to even at 5-5. As for Glenwood City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

The Wolves are facing the Ramblers at the right time seeing as the Ramblers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Glenwood City, they will square off against Durand-Arkansaw at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
