There's no place like home for Madison-Grant, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Cowan Blackhawks on Friday by a score of 59-46 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Argylls' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Blackhawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Garrett, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Terrell, who posted ten points.

Madison-Grant moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Cowan, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison-Grant will face off against Shenandoah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shenandoah is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season. As for Cowan, they will square off against Daleville at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th.
