Basketball Recap: Hunter Stevens and Tyler Frydenlund Secure Win for Jefferson

Jefferson posted their biggest victory since February 8th on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Drummond Trojans with a sharp 68-47 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Leading Jefferson to victory were Tyler Frydenlund and Hunter Stevens. Frydenlund posted 16 points and five rebounds, while Stevens put up 13 points along with eight boards and three steals. That's the most steals Stevens has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Geier, who earned six points and five rebounds.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Drummond, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will host Three Forks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Drummond, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Seeley-Swan at 5:30 p.m. on January 28, 2025.
