Baseball Game Preview: Holbrook Roadrunners vs. St. Johns Redskins

The Holbrook Roadrunners will face off against the St. Johns Redskins at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.

Holbrook had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Page on Saturday. The Roadrunners were the clear victors by a 15-8 margin over the Sand Devils. The Roadrunners haven't had any issues with the Sand Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Holbrook got a massive performance out of Niko Espitia, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The Roadrunners are 2-1 when Espitia posts three or more hits, but 8-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Larson, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, St. Johns and Florence finished up their contest with a 5-5 draw on Saturday.

St. Johns' draw makes their record 8-9-1 this season. As for Holbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Holbrook beat St. Johns 8-4 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Roadrunners repeat their success, or do the Redskins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
