It was a good run, but  Evansville North unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Friday. They took  a  45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenfield-Central Cougars.
 Evansville North lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Libby Blythe, who  went 6 for 13  on her way to 15  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Evie Sale, who  posted 11  points.
 Greenfield-Central got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Brooklyn Mcconnell out in front who  went 5 of 9  on her way to 16 points.  Izzy Silcox was another key player,  going 5 for 11  on her way to 14  points.
Evansville North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Greenfield-Central, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
 Evansville North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  54-48  win against Lebanon on the 27th. As for Greenfield-Central, they will face off against Connersville at 1:30  p.m.  on January 4th. Greenfield-Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6  points per game  this season.
