The home team had won the previous three meetings between St. Marys and Johnsonburg, and St. Marys kept the tradition alive. The Flying Dutch were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams on Tuesday. The game marked the Flying Dutch's most dominant win of the season.

St. Marys never let Johnsonburg on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-20.

St. Marys pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Johnsonburg, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Coincidentally, St. Marys and Johnsonburg will both be playing Elk County Catholic the next time they take the court. The Rams will head out to face the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Flying Dutch will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
