Baseball Recap: Eastern Wayne Takes a Loss

Eastern Wayne fell victim to Rocky Mount and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 17-0 to the Rocky Mount Gryphons. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row dating back to last season.

Eastern Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rocky Mount, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

When Eastern Wayne and Rocky Mount next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Eastern Wayne will face off against American Leadership Academy-Johnston and their six-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Rocky Mount will try to stop Roanoke Rapids' three-game winning streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
