Volleyball Recap: Nevada Comes Up Short

Nevada was the 2-1 winner over Ballard when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cubs fell just short of the Bombers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Nevada's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Ballard, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Nevada wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Johnston on the 20th. As for Ballard, they will be playing at home against A-D-M at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
