Baseball Recap: Newton South Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Newton South's offense. They fell just short of the Boston Latin Wolfpack by a score of 2-0 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Lions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Newton South's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Boston Latin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.
