Soccer Game Preview: Troy vs. Voorheesville

The Troy Flying Horses will take on the Voorheesville Blackbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Troy was handed a six-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They never let Ballston Spa get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Troy's winning goal came courtesy of Mohammed Al-Masswawari.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Voorheesville sidestepped Mechanicville for a 3-2 victory. That's two games straight that Voorheesville have won by just one goal.

Troy's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Voorheesville, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-2.
