Basketball Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

Aurora lost against Revere back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Aurora Greenmen took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Revere Minutemen. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Greenmen came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Minutemen are ranked 556th).

Aurora now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Revere, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aurora will square off against Copley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Revere, they will challenge Cuyahoga Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
