Baseball Recap: Dayton Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Dayton's offense. They lost 8-0 to the New Providence Pioneers on Thursday. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Dayton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for New Providence, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6.

Looking ahead, Dayton will head out to challenge Union Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Providence, they will welcome Summit at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
