Baseball Recap: Ray Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Ray faced off against Superior on Friday. The Bearcats took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Bearcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Ray saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rj Nunez, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Jaxon Cude was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Ray's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Superior, their record now sits at 6-4.

Ray didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-7 tie against Desert Heights Prep on the 31st. As for Superior, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Hayden on the 1st.
