Basketball Recap: Taylor's Crossing Skates Past Clark County with Ease

While Taylor's Crossing didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Clark County Bobcats 58-28. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Taylor's Crossing's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Clark County, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taylor's Crossing will venture away from home to challenge Challis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Taylor's Crossing's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Clark County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on American Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
