Basketball Recap: Luling Comes Up Short

Luling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 48-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hidalgo Early College Pirates.

Luling's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Hidalgo Early College, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Luling will face off against Llano at 1:20 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hidalgo Early College, they will take on Macedonian Christian at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Hidalgo Early College's defense better be ready for this one: Macedonian Christian has averaged an impressive 54.2 points per game this season.
