Soccer Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Notre Dame fell victim to Arroyo Valley and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Arroyo Valley Hawks, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 987th, while the Hawks are ranked 173rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Notre Dame and nudges their season record down to 2-7-3. As for Arroyo Valley, they pushed their record up to 13-4-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will take on Eisenhower at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Notre Dame is facing Eisenhower at the right time seeing as Eisenhower is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Arroyo Valley, they will challenge Rim of the World at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
