While East Beauregard's victory against Hornbeck wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The East Beauregard Trojans skirted past the Hornbeck Hornets 11-10. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

East Beauregard's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Hornbeck, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, East Beauregard will challenge Vinton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Vinton's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Hornbeck, they will head out to square off against Many at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Hornbeck has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
