Volleyball Recap: Hanover Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hanover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Genoa-Hugo/Karval Pirates, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-14.

Avah Venzor paced Hanover's offense, picking up three kills. Venzor got some help from Jenna Grove and her six assists.

Hanover's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Genoa-Hugo/Karval, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Hanover nor Genoa-Hugo/Karval have any future games scheduled.
