Chaparral entered their tilt with Waco on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Waco Lions with points to spare, taking the game 68-53. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Lions are ranked 676th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chaparral has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Waco, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
