On Friday, Little Rock Christian Academy faced Sylvan Hills in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the Sylvan Hills Bears. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Little Rock Christian Academy's defeat ended a 23-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-5. As for Sylvan Hills, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Vilonia the next time they take the court. Sylvan Hills will host Vilonia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Little Rock Christian Academy will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th.
