Softball Preview: South Lyon Lions vs. Franklin Patriots
The South Lyon Lions will challenge the Franklin Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. South Lyon's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Franklin's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Makenna Goldman was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Savana Mullen, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
South Lyon's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
