Softball Recap: Caverna Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thomas Nelson, Caverna was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Fort Knox Eagles by a score of 11-6. The Colonels' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Caverna's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Fort Knox, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caverna will host John Hardin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Caverna is facing John Hardin at the right time seeing as John Hardin is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Fort Knox, they will face off against Hart County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
