Soccer Recap: Serena Comes Up Short

If Serena was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Sandwich on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskers came up short against the Somonauk Bobcats on Monday, falling 6-0. Serena haven't had much luck with Somonauk recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Serena's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-3. As for Somonauk, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Serena will square off against Byron at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somonauk, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stillman Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
