Manchester piles up the points against Bloomfield

Recap: Manchester Red Hawks vs. Bloomfield Warhawks

The Manchester Red Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Bloomfield on the road to the tune of 79-43. Manchester has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 27 points or more this season.

Tiara Tyson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 40 points and ten rebounds. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Manchester's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Lawrence, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 1 assist.

Manchester's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Bloomfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manchester will take on Farmington at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Bloomfield, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hall at 5:30 p.m. on January 25th.
