Kouts is 8-1 against North White since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Mustangs & Fillies will take on the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Kouts is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Kouts easily dispatched Caston on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Mustangs & Fillies fell just short of Valparaiso by a score of 4-2 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Mustangs & Fillies couldn't push the score so high this time.

Kouts saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Carden, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double was Carden's first of the season.

Meanwhile, North White came up short against North Judson-San Pierre on Tuesday, falling 9-2. The Vikings have struggled against the Bluejays recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Melanie Crawford made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

North White's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Kouts, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything went Kouts' way against North White in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, as Kouts made off with an 11-1 victory. Will the Mustangs & Fillies repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
