Soccer Recap: St. Francis' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

St. Francis's matchup on Wednesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on the Chaminade Eagles with a sharp 5-2 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Golden Knights as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 8-6-3. As for Chaminade, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-2 record this season.

St. Francis will be playing at home against Harvard-Westlake at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Harvard-Westlake will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something St. Francis surely won't give up without a fight. Chaminade has already played their next game (against Bishop Alemany), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
