Swanton scored first but ultimately less than Perkins in their matchup on Saturday. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 5-4. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Swanton's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Perkins, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Swanton will venture away from home to challenge Northwood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Rangers at the right time seeing as the Rangers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Perkins, they will head out to square off against Edison at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
